Today at the museum was a lot slower in work than other days I have been here. On the bright side our curator brought her emotional support pup, her name is Mila. She was so sweet and sat quietly by her feet and would come sit at my feet anytime Kaitlyn had to move from her desk.

Today was also the last day of the first week of summer camp, it was a little noisy and the education department was putting in the hardest work of all. Since I was working behind a room divider it was fun hearing everything going on, on the other side.

I spent a good amount of time going up and down stairs looking through boxes in the collection and online through Pastperfect getting for ideas for the continued work of “Artifact of the Month”. In between this, I spent a lot of time talking to the curator about the work she did prior to her role as curator, a lot of great insight today.
