Today started with my usual cataloging. I pieced together my setup by grabbing different boxes so I could stand while I work but still easily move things around if I wanted to sit. I’m always a little nervous grabbing the box I’m working on because the room is spooky (I always say “hi” to Alice the ghost, always best to be safe than sorry). The museum collection is located in two areas, a small space upstairs near the staff office, and the rest downstairs in the museum space.

Danelle, the executive director, bought lunch for everyone today. I offered to walk over and pick it up since it was in the town square, and a mid-day walk is always nice.

I didn’t take any pictures of the work I did today, but the second half of my day was mostly filled with the supervisor interview. It was a nice change of pace, the director of education offered advice and open dialogue throughout the conversation, and the perspective was a good learning experience.

Image: The director of the museum loves cats, her office is filled with many fun trinkets and a lot of pink.
