Left: Today was Junes monthly volunteer meeting. They passed around signup sheets for snacks for the upcoming summer camp. Middle: This is my everyday box for cataloging. My folders lay flat under the lid; it has some that are completed and the ones I am currently working on. Right: This is the back end of a long hallway type room; this is part of the collections.

First part of my day was filled with the volunteer meeting; they had donuts and other treats set up for everyone which was nice. They discussed some upcoming events and had a signup sheet for anyone willing to bring snacks in for the summer camp kids. I waited for everyone to pass that around, then volunteered to bring whatever else they needed, it’s the least I can do. It took a bit of time to get the room cleared since the volunteers stuck around to mingle with each other.

Once everyone had left, I was able to go into our collections room to pull out my box. I set up my station with random boxes I could find around me; I like to work standing up, I believe I mentioned that in a previous post. Today I brought in a mouse of my own and headphones, using the trackpad gets hard after a while when you have many clicks for every step in PastPerfect.
