Today was my first event with the museum. I arrived early to help with some prep work to get my station in order. I was working the craft table, this included two activities, Tomte and Dala Horse decorating. I was slightly under the weather but I was under a small pavilion out of the sun and the breeze was perfect. Before the event started, I helped pass out water to all the reenacting volunteers, we had the Vinlane Texas Vikings, and some textile artists well.

The event had around 150 visitors, and all the guests at my table were kids, which was to be expected. A good number of the parents I spoke with were teachers. I was also entertained by baby vultures perched in a tree with their mother in front of my table.

This was an all-day event. I took a quick lunch break and was also able to explore the other booths. At the end of the day, I helped pack up all my craft supplies and loaded them up to be taken back to the museum.
